Bids shall be delivered in a sealed envelope and clearly marked on the outside with the words “Town of McCandless 2022 Paving Program.”

Bids to receive consideration must be accompanied by a Certified Check or Bidder’s Bond from a Surety Company authorized to do business in Pennsylvania, made to the order of THE TOWN OF McCANDLESS, ALLEGHENY COUNTY, Pennsylvania in an amount equal to ten percent (10%) of the total amount of the Bid as a guarantee that, if the Bid is accepted, the successful Bidder will enter into an Agreement within 15 days after Notice of the Award of the Contract.

All bidders must be PennDOT pre-qualified and meet the work classification codes of E, F, and F1. All bids submitted must have the Contractor’s valid pre-qualification certification attached to the outside of the bid or it will be rejected.

A Non-Collusion Affidavit must accompany each bid.

The Bids must be made to The Town of McCandless, and shall remain firm for a period of sixty (60) days. No Bidder may withdraw his Bid during the sixty (60) day period without forfeiting his Bid guarantee except as permitted by law.

Prevailing Wages are required to be paid on this project.

Performance and Labor and Material Payment Bonds, along with Public

Liability and Property Damage Certificates of Insurance in the amounts specified and with the Town of McCandless identified as an additional

insured, as well as Certificates of Workmen’s Compensation must be filed with the executed Agreement.

The Town reserves the right to reject any or all Bids, or any part thereof, for any reason, and also reserves the right to waive any informality therein.

Devlin Park Tennis Court Reconstruction

The reconstructing and conversion of the current exterior court facility to accommodate four pickleball courts. This work will include the removal of all fence fabric, removal of several fencing posts and footings, and all tennis court netting posts and foundations. The contractor will excavate an area (approx. 12’ X 126’) for addition court surface. Install two inches (2”) of HMA binder material followed by one- and one-half inches (1 ½”) of HMA surface course. The installation of new fence posts and fence fabric where specified and reinstallation of removed fence fabric, gates, and hardware over existing fence posts. New tennis and pickleball court net sleeves, posts, and footings will be installed. The final stage involves the application of surfacer, two coats of acrylic color, and line striping. The contractor will clean the site and repair/seed damaged landscape areas.

The Plan is being revised to include new provisions for the administration and implementation of the Housing Choice Voucher (HCV) payment standards.

The Allegheny County Housing Authority is seeking proposals from responsible property owners interested in providing expanded rental housing opportunities for

Veterans. Properties must be

existing housing in Allegheny County, excluding the City of Pittsburgh and the City of McKeesport, in close proximity to the Veteran’s Administration. The minimum contract term will be 15 years with a maximum contract term of 20 years at the ACHA’s option.

The ACHA will begin to accept proposals

on a one-time basis beginning Wednesday, February 23, 2022 with a closing date of Thursday, March 31, 2022. Any proposal re­ceived after the expiration of this appli­cation period will not be considered.

Once received, each proposal will be rated for the program compliance with the goals of deconcentrating poverty, expanding housing and economic opportunities. Once

One (1) original and four (4) copies of the proposal shall be prepared and submitted to the School District in such form as is set forth in the RFQ by 4:00 PM on Thursday, February 24, 2022.

The District reserves the right to

reject any and all RFQs.

Port Authority of Allegheny County is soliciting Proposals from qualified firms interested in providing:

SECURITIES LITIGATION AND PORTFOLIO MONITORING SERVICES

If you have any questions about the request, please contact Mr. Schenk by no later than 4:00 pm. EST on Thursday, March 17, 2022.

Please e-mail your proposal by 2:00 p.m. EST on Friday, April 8, 2022 to the contact above. Hard copy re­sponses will not be accepted.

The Authority reserves the right to reject any and all proposals, to rebid or to negotiate directly with one or more respondents and to select a firm on a basis other than cost.
