“Duquesne Light Company (DLC) was honored to partner with Grounded Strategies on June 17 for our second annual Juneteenth volunteer event,” the company told the New Pittsburgh Courier in a statement, as the company’s employees beautified the Hill District. “This year, we visited the Hill District to clear vacant lots and plant flowers to enhance and support resident-driven green space projects around the neighborhood. This effort was critical to DLC’s ongoing efforts to give back to diverse communities in the Pittsburgh region.”
