THE WILKINS TOWNSHIP ZONING HEARING BOARD PUBLIC HEARING
The Wilkins Township Zoning Hearing Board shall hold a public hearing on Thursday, May 18, 2023 at 7:00 p.m., at the Municipal Building, 110 Peffer Road, Wilkins Township, PA 15145. At that time, the Board shall hear an application for a variance made by Charles Proviano (‘the applicant’), for property located at 798 Greensburg Pike, East Pittsburgh, PA 15112 (‘the property’).
The property, more fully identified as Allegheny County Tax Map Lot and Block Number 374-D-70, is situated in an R-3 Residential Zoning District. The applicant seeks a Variance to convert a single-family residential dwelling into a duplex. According to the Wilkins Township Zoning Code §450-10, duplexes are not a permitted use in an R-3 Zoning District.

The Green Committee of the Allegheny County Sanitary Authority will hold a special meeting for general purposes on Thursday, May 11, 2023, at 2:00 p.m. prevailing time in the Trefz Board Room at its offices located at 3300 Preble Avenue, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania 15233. Official action on the Committee’s recommendations will take place at a regular meeting of the Board of Directors at a later date. The public may view the meeting via livestream by visiting www.alcosan.org.
