The Creative Arts Emmy Awards saw several Black stars take home awards.

Over the weekend, the Television Academy held two Creative Arts Emmy Awards ceremonies ahead of the 75th Primetime Emmys scheduled to air on January 15.

Keke Palmer made history as the first Black woman to win an Emmy for Outstanding Host For a Game Show for her role on Password.

“To be acknowledged at different levels is just awesome,” Palmer said of her history-making win.

For the eighth time in a row, RuPaul nabbed the Emmy for Reality or Competition Program Host.

“I want to tell all these kids out here in the business, remember who you are. Do not give up. Stick with it, kiddo, and remember who you are,” RuPaul said amid his big win.
