LEGAL NOTICE
Notice is hereby given that U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, Center for Disease Prevention (CDC), National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH) intends to make an application to the Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) for a Water Quality Management Permit for the discharge of industrial wastes in a manner which meet DEP requirements, from a facility located in South Park Township, Allegheny County. This is a new discharge of an intermittent nature, to McElheny Run for the treatment of impacted groundwater and surface water during construction phase remediation at the site located at 626 Cochran Mill Road in Pittsburgh.
This application is made under the provisions of the Clean Streams Law, the Act of June 22, 1937, P.L. 1987, as amended.
