WARREN WILSON, FORMER PROFESSIONAL EUROPEAN BASKETBALL STAR AND VICE PRESIDENT OF ACHIEVING GREATNESS INC., PRESENTS AWARD TO ARNITA STAGGER, LONGTIME EDUCATOR IN PENN HILLS SCHOOL SYSTEM.
The 10th Annual Dr. Cyril Wecht Western PA Humanitarian Awards reached a decade of recognizing members of the Western PA community for what they do to “HEAL THE WORLD…AND MAKE IT A BETTER PLACE!”
The March 30 honors were presented in various categories including education, arts, sciences, entertainment, legal, military and public service.
It seems like yesterday that Achieving Greatness Inc., was fortunate enough to partner with Dr. Wecht to recognize and honor the people in our community who truly make our community a better place, not to mention extending themselves and sometimes putting their lives on the line.

There is literally not enough time or paper to give you the bio on Dr. Wecht. The fact that he’s one of the world’s greatest medical and legal minds, which includes his investigation of the JFK assassination, the murder of Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, as well as the JonBenét Ramsey killing, just to name a few.
With a medical degree from the University of Pittsburgh and a law degree from the University of Maryland, this Fifth Ave. High School grad has authored and co-authored over 600 publications. During his 20-plus years as the elected coroner for Allegheny County, he managed to lend his talents to multiple boards of directors and St. Francis Hospital.
While we salute this year’s honorees, we want to also take this opportunity to salute and celebrate Dr. Cyril H. Wecht…forensic science legend!
