Pittsburgh, PA – The City of Pittsburgh’s Department of Public Works announces that there will be no delay in refuse, bulk waste, or recycling collections on Friday, April 18, in observance of Good Friday.
Residents with regularly scheduled Friday collections should place their items at the curb after 6 PM on Thursday, April 17, as per usual collection guidelines. All services will operate on their normal schedule.

CitiParks Facility Closures – Easter Weekend
The following CitiParks facilities will be affected from Friday, April 18, through Easter Sunday, April 20:
Healthy Active Living Centers (Senior Centers)
- Closed: Friday, April 18
- Regular schedule resumes Monday, April 21
Recreation Centers
- Closed: Friday, April 18 & Saturday, April 19
- Regular schedule resumes Monday, April 21
After-School Feeding Program (CACFP)
- In alignment with Pittsburgh Public Schools, CACFP will not operate from Monday, April 14 through Friday, April 18
- Service resumes Monday, April 21
Mellon Park Tennis Center
- Closed: Sunday, April 20
