VANDIA WEBSTER, WITH THE KEY TO THE CITY OF CORAOPOLIS.

Happy Birthday to one of the New Pittsburgh Courier’s longtime subscribers, Ms. Vandia Webster! She recently turned 102 years young, and she was presented with the “Key to the City” of Coraopolis by Mayor Michael Dixon. Ms. Webster enjoys family and friends while telling stories about when she drove to Georgia and Alabama, and how she learned to drive a car with a stick shift. She loves Kentucky Fried Chicken and some fresh baked yams, her family tells the Courier, and her favorite gospel song is “God is Good” by Regina Belle.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY!

She cherishes her two sons, Dickie and Kenny Salters, and her daughters, Barbara Jones and Vivian Salters.

May God continue blessing Ms. Webster in her golden years.

VANDIA WEBSTER’S SON, DICK, AT THE CELEBRATION.
