Saquon Barkley tops NFLPA’s Year-End Top 50 Player Sales List, T. J. Watt No. 16

Saquon Barkley claimed the retail crown atop the NFLPA’s Year-End Top 50 Player Sales List, becoming the first running back since 2017 to finish No. 1. He’s joined by a standout group in the top 10, including Patrick Mahomes, Jalen Hurts, Jayden Daniels, C.J. Stroud, Josh Allen, Aidan Hutchinson, Amon-Ra St. Brown, Micah Parsons and Justin Jefferson – highlighting just a portion of the 50 players driving retail demand last season.

 The NFLPA’s Top 50 Player Sales List ranks the league’s top retail performers based on sales of officially licensed player products from March 1, 2024, to February 28, 2025. It is the most comprehensive and up-to-date snapshot of player-driven consumer demand, offering a strong indicator of the NFL’s most marketable and influential athletes – impacting everything from endorsements to overall earning potential.

 These rankings go beyond jersey sales, covering a wide range of product categories including apparel, bobbleheads, accessories, figurines, wall decals, backpacks, drinkware and more. These are the only verified rankings based on officially licensed NFL player products sold through both online and in-store retail channels, as reported by over 85 NFLPA licensees.

What to Know About the 2025 Year-End NFLPA Top 50 Player Sales List:

  • Saquon Barkley became the first running back to top the list since Ezekiel Elliott in 2017. Patrick Mahomes holds at No. 2, notching his seventh consecutive year-end Top 5 finish since taking over as starting QB in 2018.

 

  • Jayden Daniels, at No. 4, earned the highest-ranked spot for a first-year QB since Tua Tagovailoa in 2021 and the first rookie QB to crack the Top 5 on a year-end list since Mac Jones in 2022.
  • From the Preseason Top 50 List, Justin Jefferson surged 12 spots to claim No. 10 position, CeeDee Lamb bolted 12 places to No. 17 and Josh Allen 10 spots to No. 6.
  • Nine NFLPA Rising Stars broke through the year-end rankings—a strong signal of future retail power. Jayden Daniels, Caleb Williams, Jahmyr Gibbs, Drake Maye, Malik Nabers, Puka Nacua, Sam LaPorta, and JJ McCarthy all turned early buzz into real consumer demand.
  • The most popular jerseys based on cumulative sales were Saquon Barkley, Patrick Mahomes, Jalen Hurts, Jayden Daniels and CJ Stroud.
  • Forever Collectibles (FOCO) reported that the best-selling bobbleheads were Patrick Mahomes, Joe Burrow, Josh Allen, TJ Watt and Dak Prescott.
  • Patrick Mahomes, Joe Burrow, George Kittle, Tua Tagovailoa and Josh Allen led sales of Funko Pop vinyl collectibles at year-end.
  • GameTime Sidekicks’ top-selling collegiate co-branded drinkware featured Joe Burrow, Trevor Lawrence, Lamar Jackson, Patrick Mahomes and Dak Prescott. 
  • The hottest-selling socks from licensees FBF, Rock ‘Em, and Strideline featured Justin Jefferson, Patrick Mahomes, Josh Allen, Dawson Knox (unranked) and Joe Burrow.
  • Fathead’s most popular wall decals and cutouts featured Patrick Mahomes, Justin Jefferson, Josh Allen, TJ Watt and Lamar Jackson.
  • Outerstuff youth apparel sales were led by Patrick Mahomes, followed by Jalen Hurts, Justin Jefferson, Christian McCaffrey and Josh Allen.
  • Party Animals’ best-selling player figurines and squishy toys featured Patrick Mahomes, Travis Kelce, TJ Watt, Josh Allen and Lamar Jackson.
  • Trends International’s top-selling player-identified posters included Patrick Mahomes, Micah Parsons, Dak Prescott, Joe Burrow and Justin Herbert.
