This week I visited Kelly’s Bar in East Liberty, Ava Lounge in East Liberty and Tim’s Bar in the Hill District. My first stop was at Tim’s Bar in the Hill District where everybody knows your name. Hollywood responds to deadly Conn. school shooting

My boyfriend has an illegal profession!

I am getting ready to move back home and care for my elderly mother. According to my boyfriend, he insists he will not spend his weekends alone, and says he never intends to visit me at the home of my mother.

‘Flight,’ ‘Django Unchained’ among NAACP nominees

LOS ANGELES (AP) — "Flight," ''Django Unchained," ''Beasts of the Southern Wild," ''Red Tails" and "Tyler Perry's Good Deeds" are up for the outstanding motion picture trophy at the NAACP Image Awards. The National Association for the Advancement of Colored People announced the nominations Tuesday for the awards that honor diversity in the arts. Indian sitar virtuouso Ravi Shankar dies at 92

‘So You Think You Can Dance’ live tour

Cyrus “Glitch” Spencer pop-locked his way into the hearts of the American public and the judges on “So You Think You Can Dance,” earning the place as runner up in season 9 of the show. “I am happy that I was named the runner-up. I think that the audience saw an underdog trying. I love dance and I appreciate other forms of it and each week on the show I looked at each form of dance as a challenge,” Spencer, 22, said. “Nigel (Lythgoe) said that I am one of his favorite people.
