The Pittsburgh Unit of the NAACP hosted a Night at the Rivers Casino on March 15 at the Rivers Casino, located on the North Shore.
The event, which included food, live entertainment and much more, showed the partnership formed between the NAACP and the Rivers Casino, despite the recent allegations of Blacks not being welcomed at the casino.
It also gave the NAACP an opportunity to reach out to the community.
Constance Parker, Pittsburgh NAACP president, said the event was attended by more than 600 people and was a way to show the community who the NAACP is, what they stand for and that the doors of the Rivers Casino are open to all.
