RACE
The Carnegie Museum of Natural History presents “RACE: Are We So Different?’ at 4400 Forbes Ave., Oakland. This exhibition looks at the ways science and human-history have intersected to form our understanding and beliefs about race. It explores the history of the idea of race, the changing role of science in that history and so much more. The exhibit will be displayed through Oct. 27. Blues BBQ Fundraiser
Calliope: The Pittsburgh Folk Music Society presents its annual Blues BBQ Fundraiser featuring Ernie Hawkins and his band at 8 p.m. at The Roots Cellar, Pittsburgh Center for the Arts, 1047 Shady Ave., Shadyside.
