SEPT. 3—The University of Pittsburgh’s Center for Social and Urban Research and Institute for Entrepreneurial Excellence will host “Make It Happen Mon Valley” from 6-7:30 p.m. at the Carnegie Library of Pittsburgh Homestead branch, 510 E. 10th Ave., Munhall. This free workshop is designed to help individuals determine if starting a business is right for them and how to begin searching for the “right” business for them.
