Just like the estimated 446 bridges in Pittsburgh play an essential role in providing access throughout the city, for 24 years Bridgeway Capital has been just as valuable to small businesses and non-profit organizations.
Since its inception, Bridgeway Capital has been “bridging the way” from entrepreneurial ideas to actual business growth and impact. The group is known for providing access to flexible financing and educational opportunities to its clients. From the beginning its focus was western Pennsylvania, but within the last two years its concentration has expanded to encompass the Erie and Uniontown regions.
Close to 400 people were on hand during Bridgeway Capital’s 2014 Annual Event where they recognized economic opportunity and regional growth. Highlighted were the people, small businesses, organizations and projects they have been assisting in their efforts to positively impact western Pennsylvania.
“We ask ourselves so what? So what does our growth mean? So what difference have we made? What value do we have for western Pennsylvania? We encourage you to ask that same question: How is western Pennsylvania better because of Bridgeway Capital,” remarked Mark Peterson, founder, president and CEO during his program presentation.
