- Everyone please put your hands together and give the Clairton Bears a standing ovation as they go after yet another State Title. It’s hard to believe these kids and the coaching staff can keep a focus with all the unfortunate trouble going on out there, but the truth is like in every case. The greater percentage of Clairton folks are great people. It’s just the few bad ones that cause the problems. Go Bears!!!
- Your Pittsburgh Steelers rise to the occasion against the big boys. Look for them to beat the “Bungals” large. 31-17 STEELERS!

- The Pens lost to Vancouver . . . that’s all I got. Look, you said you wanted the truth. I ain’t gonna lie to ya.
- Duquesne has not beaten Pitt in “The City Game” since 2000. At any other time I would tell you it’s Pitt tonight without question, B-U-T . . . the Dukes are playing pretty good and the Panthers aren’t. I’ll go Pitt by 8 points, but I am not sure about it???
