The question being asked about the alleged Cosby scandal is can you ever look at the Cosby Show again in the same light? The answer should be a resounding yes.
The Cosby show was not about Bill Cosby the man. It was about a Black professional family dealing with all the everyday life events that happens to families. It was the first show that highlighted the fact that there are Black families who are normal middle class families, an issue we are still dealing with today.
So now, how do we put that in a different light?
If we look at everything according to what is happening in an actors’ personal life, there are a lot of shows and movies that should not be look at in the same light. Bill Cosby is an actor, lets not forget that.
The Cosby Show was and is iconic lets not forget that.
