Katt Williams

Katt Williams has had his equal share of trouble and success as one of the leading comedians of the 21st Century. With his funny pimping rhetoric, Williams is coming to Pittsburgh, for the first time in 8 years, on March 12th for his Born Again…Again Tour at Soldiers and Sailors Memorial Hall.
Katt Williams has already charmed fans on his previous tour stops. Some show admirers have chimed in with their two cent reviews on Ticketmaster.com. With an average rating of 3.5, some fans are calling this stand up comedy “the best show ever”, being left with “no disappointments.”
Recently on the Tom Joyner Morning Show, Williams talked about his new tour and his level of expectations. “I’m trying to go to the next level,” said Williams, “staying ahead of the curve, it is a difficult thing to do.”
His reputation and run ins with the law are clearly matters of the past. In his latest stunt, Katt Williams and former rap mogul Suge Knight were arrested and charged in October 2014 for allegedly stealing a camera from a photographer in Beverly Hills. But, all has been quiet on the western front since then.
“I don’t run from trouble because I know where trouble comes from.” He then goes on to say, “I can only play victim but so far.”
Here’s what to expect from Katt Williams this Thursday:
*A Sense of Redemption– The 43-year-old comedian despite his legal woes has consistently produced cable comedy specials and televised stands ups. So, working is not the problem. Rather, Williams needs to regain the public’s attention and affection.
*No Tolerance– Don’t try to be cute because hecklers will be dismissed. The Friday After Next star has a history of actively responding to hecklers. Between shouting matches and getting booted out of shows, he is one comedian that has no tolerance for the heckling community.
*A Permed Pimp– One thing that has never changed is his straight hair and pimped out clothing. It would not be a proper Katt Williams appearance without some insight on the tricks (no pun intended) and trades of pimping.
Williams has already committed to providing Pittsburgh “an hour of non stop laughter”, along with a opening lineup of other all star comedians. Come see for yourself if Katt Williams is actually born again– again.
Movie Scene Queen will be in the building, but there are only a few tickets left. Log onto kattwilliamspgh.com for tickets and more information.
