A Texas elementary school teacher is under fire posting a racially-inflammatory rant onto Facebook post that put all the blame on black people are responsible for racial tension in America and said she is “almost to the point” of needing for segregation to return.
Of course, Karen Fitzgibbons, who says she is “not a racist,” has since deleted her FB post, but she mentioned that she wanted all blacks to be hoarded and lassoed onto one side of time so they can only harm each other.
Of course. All people who are non-racist and are proud of their statements routinely delete their posts as soon as they come under fire. Yah, right.
Fitzgibbons, a fourth grade teacher at Bennett Elementary, told KCDB-TV that she had “no comment” on the post, but thanked the local news station for taking interest in it. She also told the Lubbock Avalanche-Journal, however, that she had apologized to the “appropriate people.”
“It was not an educational post; it was a personal experience post,” she told the newspaper.
A school district spokesperson referred KCDB to the part of the employee handbook that governs electronic media.
According to her LinkedIn page, Fitzgibbons has taught at the Texas school since 1999.
