*Chris Brown has had enough of TMZ and its founder, Harvey Levin.
According to HipHollywood.com, the “Liquor” singer took to Instagram early Monday morning to counter a story TMZ ran about of him being a no show at a gay pride event in Atlanta last weekend.
Posting a screen shot of the TMZ story, titled “Chris Brown Settles Beef … Over Gay Pride Gig,” Brown followed with a lengthy message stating that he was never booked for the show, which took place September 7 in Atlanta.
However, TMZ reported that although Brown was set to attend the gay pride event, details about the appearance were never confirmed to him. As it turned out, the situation was resolved with Brown paying $12,500.
In addition to shooting down TMZ’s story, the entertainer called out Levin, who is gay, for not putting his focus on “real issues” and devoting his time to other things and people.
“Y’all gotta stop with this bullsh*t. I was never booked. Y’all love to say I’m homophobic and sh*t to have something to be mad at. I don’t care that you are gay Harvey. I applaud you and a person of your caliber should be finding outlets for young gay men/teens and women to be more open and comfortable about coming out,” Brown wrote.
“Some of my friends have came out to me and I love them just the same,” he continued. “It would really be a blessing if u focused on real issues. But all these false stories to bring your site traffic is corny. But find another person to drag through the mud of lies. I know I’m talented but I’m not running for president any time soon so fall back wit all the nonsense.”
