:10—I’ve had the great pleasure and privilege of attending a great number of banquets, awards ceremonies and special events of the sort and I am proud to say more than a few of them in recognition of my achievements. Clearly the pinnacle of my career was achieved Saturday night at the very prestigious Annual Omega Psi Phi Alumni “Exemplary Service Awards,” held at the magnificent Shriners Syria Temple in Cheswick, Pa. A superb dinner dance gala showcasing some of the areas top high school academic achievers and some of our community’s most outstanding achievers and community servants. D.J. Mac-Daddy got the party started following the members famous “Gathering of Men” at center stage, and then the legendary Atomic-Dog was played and the late night was off and running. Great friends, great food and great fun had by all…A tip of the gentlemen’s hat to Brother Fred Crawford, the Alumni Chapter, Chapter wives and members. A wonderful and prideful event and I truly appreciate being honored with such legends! (Special thanks to my close friends for coming out to support!)
