Pittsburgh Bicentennial Celebration
JULY 9—The City of Pittsburgh celebrates its 200th birthday beginning with an 11 a.m. parade along Liberty Avenue from 11th Street to Point State Park. The day’s festivities also include a Bicentennial Heritage Showcase in Market Square from 12:30 to 2:30 p.m., followed by a concert and fireworks display at the point, beginning at 6 p.m.
