Homeless Children’s Education Fund hires Ardana Jefferson as new Exec. Director

The New Pittsburgh Courier has learned that the Board of Directors of the Homeless Children’s Education Fund announced the hiring of Ardana Jefferson to serve as the organization’s Executive Director. Ms. Jefferson will begin her tenure on March 21, 2022.

“We are thrilled that Ardana brings the right mix of person and professional attributes to our organization. She will inspire the board, staff and community partners with her passion, acumen and dedication to the community,” said Jo Clark, HCEF Board President. “She has a track record of success in her past endeavors and is poised to take us into an exciting new chapter of service.”

Ms. Jefferson most recently served as the Director of Hope Group for Hosanna House in Wilkinsburg, where she was responsible for growing and overseeing business development, partner services and asset management. With more than 25 years of experience in membership and program development, staff development, and net revenue growth, Ardana possesses an in-depth understanding of the non-profit industry and how sales/marketing and program retention can impact the breadth and depth of the organization. A graduate of Seton Hill University, Ms. Jefferson’s career has been devoted to unlocking human potential. She has held many posts with the YMCA, in both Orlando, Florida and Pittsburgh, Pa.
