Trina has addressed pregnancy rumors that surfaced following her performance at the 2023 BET Awards.

On Sunday (June 25), Trina took the BET Awards stage alongside Trick Daddy to perform in celebration of hip-hop’s 50th anniversary. The performance sparked fan speculation that the rapper was expecting.

A spokesperson for Trina shut down the rumors in a statement to TMZ on Tuesday (June 27).

“She is not pregnant despite fans’ speculation following her performance at the BET Awards,” Trina’s spokesperson told TMZ. “Just like any other woman, her weight fluctuates. She is asking for fans to just move on from this.”

This isn’t the first time Trina has faced this type of speculation. Following the 2021 BET Hip Hop Awards, Trina debunked pregnancy rumors that were swirling at the time. The hip-hop artist has also previously spoken out about her struggles with her weight.

Trina and Trick Daddy were among the plethora of hip-hop stars who performed at this year’s BET Awards including, Kid ‘N Play, Big Daddy Kane, Lil Uzi Vert, GloRilla, and Busta Rhymes, who was recognized with the Lifetime Achievement Award. Patti LaBelle also made headlines for stumbling through her tribute to legendary singer Tina Turner, who died last month.
