Social media is buzzing after Zendaya and Tom Holland reportedly got engaged.
The buzz began on Sunday (January 5) when Zendaya arrived at the 82nd annual Golden Globes wearing what appeared to be an engagement ring.
According to TMZ, Zendaya’s longtime partner, Holland, proposed at her family’s home over the holidays. A source close to the pair told PEOPLE that Holland’s engagement plans had been in the works “for a while.”
“Everyone close to them knew an engagement was happening,” just not when, the source said. “He’s always been crazy about her. He always knew she was the one. They have something very special.”
Zendaya and Holland reportedly started dating in 2021 after meeting on the set of Spiderman: Homecoming. Due to upcoming film commitments, the pair are in no rush to get married, according to reports.
“They will just enjoy things for now and won’t rush a wedding. They are both busy with work projects,” a source said, per PEOPLE.
