The New Pittsburgh Courier began its “Men of Excellence” celebrations in 2008. Since then, the Courier has honored the classes of 2009, 2010, 2011, 2012, 2014, 2017, 2019, 2021, 2022, 2023 and 2024. That’s 12 classes, nearly 600 Black men that have been honored by the Courier, including our Legacy Honorees.
