The line dancers took up the whole floor at the Whiteside Road reunion This week I visited the Greater Pittsburgh Coliseum where the annual Whiteside Road Reunion was held. This event happens every year where former residents from the old housing project located in the Hill District come together to reunite and have a great time. One year there is a cookout at Ammons Recreation Center outside and the next year a cabaret is held at the Greater Pittsburgh Coliseum in Homewood. This year everyone came out and danced the night away, ate great food and partied until 2am. You know Brotha Ash has a REAL CONNECTION to the community. This week I visited Savoy Restaurant in the Strip District, Mitchell’s Tavern’s in Oakland, CJ’s in the Strip District and the Galaxy Lounge and Entertainment Center in Homewood. My first stop was at Savoy Restaurant in the Strip District where everyone came out for “Celebrity Fridays at Savoy” starring award-winning actor Lance Gross.

My first stop was at Tim’s Bar in the Hill District where the “G Twins” came out to get their party on with family and friends.

This week I visited Hank’s House in Homewood, Savoy Restaurant in the Strip District, Mitchell’s Tavern in Oakland, Tim’s Bar in the Hill District and CJ’s in the Strip District. My first stop was at Hank’s House in Homewood where everyone came out to celebrate the birthday of Stacey Barnett-Germany and the anniversary of Hank and Stacey. This event was a surprise party for Stacey and the look on her was priceless.

This week I visited Kenny’s Place in Uptown Pittsburgh, Tim’s Bar in the Hill District, Galaxy Lounge in Homewood and Denise and Earl’s in Homewood. My first stop was at Tim’s Bar in the Hill District where everyone came out to celebrate the birthday of Tiffany. The girls came out and got their party on, ate great food and had a good time. I have to also give a shout out to Blondie who was also celebrating her birthday.

This week I visited the Wheel House Restaurant at the Rivers Casino on the North Shore, Galaxy Lounge and Entertainment Center in Homewood, Lexus Club at the Consol Energy Center and Meadowlink Golf Course in Murrysville, PA. My first stop was at the Meadowlink Golf Course where the Jeron Xavier Grayson Foundation held their 3rd Annual Peace on the Greens Scholarship Golf Outing with actor Glynn Turman as the host for the event. People from all over came out to have fun, play golf, eat food, donate and honor those who received scholarships to college.

This week I visited Ace and Deuces Lounge in Uptown Pittsburgh, Local 249 Tempster Hall in Lawrenceville, Savoy Restaurant in the Strip District, CJ’s in the Strip District and Schenley Park in Oakland. My first stop was at Local 249 Tempster Hall in Lawrenceville where Mr. and Mrs. Thurston Mosley held their wedding reception and everyone partied the night away with the new married couple.
All the ladies came out to see Eddie Drummond and Rolla Tha Man at Savoy Restaurant in the Strip District. This week I visited Schenley Park in Oakland, Robert E. Hill Memorial Park in the Hill District, and Savoy Restaurant in the Strip District. My first stop was at Schenley Park where the Community Empowerment Association’s 10th Annual Black Family Reunion & Cultural Arts Weekend was held featuring music legends Roy Ayers and the Chi-Lites. Everyone came out to enjoy the great concert and reunite with family and friends.
