Luxurious accommodations, rich food— yeah, you could see that kind of life becoming more than just a vacation. But would you move permanently? In the new book “Unsinkable” by Nicole Bradshaw, the LaRoche family decided to return to Canada and leave France behind forever. But they would actually leave behind much, much more. The night started so well, and ended so badly.

Well, the Internet, which erupted Thursday night after Warner Bros. announced that Affleck will play the Caped Crusader for its Superman and Batman team-up movie, does not like them apples one bit. Jokes (many of them imagining a Batman from South Boston) flew on Twitter. Petitions with thousands of signatures were launched to urge Warner Bros. to rethink their decision.

The two young lovers are forced to choose between living together in death or part forever. It premiered on Broadway in 2000 and ran for 1,852 performances, making it the 34th longest running Broadway musical. “AIDA” had several revivals running again from 2002 to 2003 and from 2006-2007. It has been performed in more than 20 countries and is still performed on the international, regional, and high school theater circuits.

He said every few years there’s a Black movie that everybody is supposed to see because a bunch of influential Black folks are in the movie or political and cultural leaders say it’s important that we support the film.

Starring Forest Whitaker as a longtime White House butler and Oprah Winfrey as his boozy wife, the Weinstein Co. biopic debuted in the top spot with $25 million, according to studio estimates Sunday. But the weekend's three other major new releases, including the action romp "Kick-Ass 2," failed to find traction with fans.
