Vacation Bible School
    JULY 10—Morning Star Baptist Church, 812 Oak St., West Mifflin, will host its Vacation Bible School from 6-8 p.m. The theme is “Jesus Family Reunion-The Remix.” Through July 12, individuals ages 3 to adult will discover the different families of God. Also, on July 13 there will be a trip to Idlewild Park and Soak Zone in Ligonier, Pa. Transportation will be provided and registration is requested. For more information, call 412-461-7861.

Choral Concert
    JULY 13—Bidwell Presbyterian Church, 1025 Liverpool St., Manchester, will host a Choral Concert with the Sacred Heart Choral Ensemble at 6 p.m. The Detroit, Mich., choir is led under the direction of John Thorne and performs more than 30 concerts per year. It is the remnant of the first Black Catholic Parish, St. Peter Claver, in the Archdiocese of Detroit. For more information, call 412-231-4663.

Church Anniversary
    JULY 14—Triedstone Baptist Church, 18 Harriet St., Rankin, will host its 67th Church Anniversary at 11 a.m. The theme is “I rejoiced with those who said to me, let us go to the house of the Lord.” The guest preacher will be Rev. Mark Tookes, of Macedonia Baptist Church. There will also be a 3:30 p.m. worship service with Rev. Christopher Tookes, of Mt. Zion Baptist Church of Library, along with his choir and congregation.

Choir Day
    JULY 14—Carrone Baptist Church, 7119 Frankstown Ave., Homewood, will host its Choir Day at 4 p.m. The afternoon will include choirs from around the Greater Pittsburgh area. All are welcomed. For more information, call 412-687-1819.

Holy Spirit Seminar
    JULY 15—Greater Works Outreach, 301 College Park Dr., Monroeville, will host the annual Holy Spirit Seminar at 10 a.m. The seminar, which will run through July 20, will include adult sessions, in conjunction with Vacation Bible School and the youth conference. Guest speakers will be Ricardo Sanchez, Bishop Joseph Garlington, Apostle Jane Hamon, Pastor Matthew Brown, Dr. Ron Phillips, Bishop David Huskins and Pastor Darlene Bishop. Youth Day
    JULY 21—Mt. Zion Baptist Church, 3801 Mountain Rd., South Park, will host its Youth Day Worship Service at 11 a.m. The guest preacher will be Min. Vacation Bible School
    JULY 21—Beulah Presbyterian Church, 2500 McCrady Rd., Churchill, will host its Vacation Bible School from 6-8:30 p.m. The theme is “Everywhere Fun Fair: Where God’s World Comes Together.” Through July 25, children age 4 through grade 6 will visit Mexico, Australia, the United Kingdom, Japan and Zimbabwe, and learn that neighbors everywhere are welcoming, friendly, giving, forgiving and bold. Annual Music Workshop
    JULY 25—Sixth Mount Zion Missionary Baptist Church, 6556 Shetland Ave., East Liberty, will host the 35th Annual Music Workshop. The workshop, which will run through July 28, will be led under the direction of Omar Dickenson and Roland Carter. There will be rehearsals and a workshop concert at 6 p.m. on July 28. Play
    JULY 26—The Youth Department of the Solid Rock Foundation Ministries, 435 Broadway St., Carnegie, will host The No More!! Project Production at 8 p.m. This is a timely and culturally relevant theatrical production. Women’s Brunch
    JULY 27—The SHOUT (Sisters Hanging Out United in Truth) Women’s Ministry of Union Baptist Church of Swissvale, 2117 Collingwood Ave., Swissvale, will host a Women’s Brunch from 11:30 a.m.-2 p.m. Every fourth Saturday of the month, women will come together for food, fun and fellowship to praise the Lord and hear a Word from a woman of faith.
