The 30-year-old star turned heads recently in a bright yellow gown by J Mendel while being honored at the 17th Annual Hollywood Film Awards. And while vibrant colors are definitely a go-to style choice for the Yale Drama School graduate, we’ve also seen her rock bold prints like a champ.
Nyong’o was born in Mexico, raised in Kenya and educated in the USA. She is a graduate of the Yale University School of Drama’s Acting program.
