(NNPA)–R&B singer Ciara Harris and rapper Nayvadius “Future” Wilburn are now engaged, according to reports.
Ciara turned 28 on Oct. 25, got more then she expected for her birthday weekend. Two days later, Future, 29, surprised Ciara with an exquisite 15-carat emerald cut diamond engagement ring designed by Avianne & Co.
“It’s a great situation. I’m happy. I’m excited about it,” Future told MTV News. “I feel good to be able to make someone else happy. She was definitely surprised. I [had] been planning it for a minute. I took me some time. I was just taking my time with it. I wanted it to be special.”
Once she received the ring, Ciara took to Twitter, writing: “Today Has 2 Be Like One Of The Sweetest Days Of My Life! #TheBestBirthdayEver.”
She then followed up with another tweet saying, “If I’m Dreaming I Don’t Want To Wake Up. Aaaaaahhh!!!”
Future is currently on tour with Drake and Miguel and will release his second album, entitled “Honest,” on Nov. 26. Ciara released her fifth studio album, “Ciara,” in July and also starred in the show “The Game” on BET.
The marriage will be the first for both performers.
