Business Series
DEC. 19—The Carnegie Library of Pittsburgh will host its Business Series from 12:15-1:15 p.m. at the Downtown & Business location, 612 Smithfield St., Downtown. The topic will be “Mental Health and the Workplace.” Tamara Hall will facilitate this discussion on the effects of failing to bring awareness to the mental health needs of staff within the workplace and how individual mental health problems can affect workplace stability. Second Step
DEC. 20—The University of Pittsburgh Institute for Entrepreneurial Excellence will host “The Second Step: Developing A Business Plan” from 7:30-10 a.m. at Mervis Hall, Roberto Clemente Dr., Oakland. Attendees will learn about operational and production planning, conducting market research and creating financial spreadsheets to attract funding for their business.
