Associate Internal Auditor
Port Authority is seeking an experienced Associate Internal Auditor to be responsible for conducting and documenting moderately complex audit projects.  Makes material contributions to the report of audit findings, including the development of recommendations for the correction of unsatisfactory conditions, improvement of operations, reduction of costs, or the increases of revenues.
Job requirements include:
•BA/BS degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or directly related field from an accredited school.
•Minimum of two (2) years auditing experience.
•Must travel to local Port Authority locations, minimal overnight travel and occasional evenings and weekends as needed to perform audits.
•Effective and professional communication skills.
•Demonstrated ability in the use of Windows, Microsoft Word and Excel.
Preferred attributes:
•CIA, CFE, CPA or other related professional certification program that would enhance the performance of their internal auditor duties.
•Information Technology audit skills.
•Experience with business process improvement.

K-8 Technology Teacher

Falk School, a coeducational K-8 laboratory school in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, seeks two full-time, experienced, dynamic Technology Teachers, for the next academic year, beginning August 2014.
Salary range is competitive and commensurate with experience. Falk School, which is a department in the School of Education at the University of Pittsburgh, offers excellent benefits.
Candidates should have successful teaching experience in elementary and/or middle school technology classrooms and experience in technology curriculum design and/or implementation. The educator filling these roles will be responsible for continuing to develop a program that features both stand-alone and push-in technology instruction. The position involves working in close collaboration with colleagues to co-plan, co-teach, and reflect on the developing K-8 program. The successful candidate will have a strong vision for progressive approaches to technology education, strong collaborative skills, and a willingness to support educational research.  Strong skills in oral and written communication will be required to frame and present the complex world of technology education to a variety of audiences.  The candidate should be able to build successful relationships with colleagues and develop a dialogue about the future of technology education.
A Master’s Degree and either elementary technology teaching experience or equivalent coursework are required. Elementary/Middle school teaching experience is advantageous, as collaboration across disciplines and grade levels is valued at our school. Highly creative work experience in the field of technology an asset.
