DIRECTOR OF FINANCE
The Township of Upper St. Clair is accepting applications for the Director of Finance. This position requires the ability to perform a variety of complex supervisory, professional, and administrative, accounting and finance functions in maintaining the fiscal records and systems of the Township. Must have considerable knowledge of office automation and computerized financial applications (such as AccuFund Governmental Accounting Software and Microsoft Word & Excel), public finance and financial planning, and payroll and accounts payable functions. Candidate must have a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, Public Administration, or related field. Masters in Public Administration or Certification as a Public Accountant (CPA) preferred, but not required, and five years of progressively responsible experience in finance, preferably municipal finance. Entry level position, non-tenure track, available at University of Pittsburgh, Dept. of Hispanic Languages & Literatures in Pittsburgh, PA.  Resp. for following duties: Teach 2 courses, per yr., at undergrad. level including, at least 1 in applied linguistics; Assist Dir. of Undergraduate Studies w/undergrad. advising; Coordinate parts of undergrad. language program in Spanish for Dept. of Hispanic Languages & Literature; Syllabus & exam design; Along w/others, teach & guide graduate student Teaching Assistants; Assess appropriate course level of new students in Spanish language sequence.
