Automatic Fare Collection
System Administrator
Port Authority is seeking an experienced Automatic Fare Collection System Administrator to serve as the primary liaison for all Information Technology (IT) requirements related to the Automatic Fare Collection System (AFCS). Works with AFCS Project Team during the implementation phase while performing related testing, reporting criteria, providing project updates and acting as the main conduit for IT related issues. After system acceptance, oversees and coordinates day-to-day IT functional and operational needs for the AFCS. Works with Authority and vendor personnel to identify any IT related issues with the AFCS and then follows through until conclusion. Coordinates ancillary testing, modifications and evaluates PCI compliance relative to change requests. Provides end-user training for report generation and system functionality and also assist in the design of user documentation.
Job requirements include:
•BS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration or directly related field. Experience in directly related field may be substituted for education.
•Minimum three (3) years experience software development and/or implementation for Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and/or Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) products.
•Must have demonstrated experience in troubleshooting technical problems, and the ability to verify quantitative information produced by systems applications.
•Demonstrated ability in the use of Windows.
•Professional and effective communication skills.
•Excellent customer service and problem resolution skills.
•Valid PA driver’s license.
Preferred attributes:
•Experience with SQL/Report Writing.
•Experience with fare collection systems.
•Experience with PCI Compliance.
•Experience with network protocols
•Experience with web portal development

Port Authority is seeking an experienced Worker’s Compensation Supervisor to oversee all activities of the Workers’ Compensation function, including legal compliance and processing of claims in accordance with the Pennsylvania Workers’ Compensation Act.
Job requirements include:
•BA/BS in Business Administration, Human Resources Management or directly related field.  Additional experience in Workers’ Compensation compliance and processing may be substituted for education on a year-for-year basis.
•Minimum of four (4) years’ experience in Workers’ Compensation compliance and processing.
•Minimum of one (1) year supervisory experience.
•Effective and professional communication skills.
•Demonstrated ability in the use of Windows, Microsoft Word, and Excel.
