Annual Summit
    AUG. 15—Sisters Saving Ourselves Now will host its 3rd Annual Summit at the Community College of Allegheny County South Campus, 1750 Clairton Blvd., West Mifflin. The theme for the two-day event is “Enhance Health and Well-Being of the Black Family: Committed to Healing, Education and Empowering.” There will be a keynote speech by Pittsburgh Police Ass. Chief Maurita Bryant; presentations by Melanie Campbell, president and CEO of the National Coalition on Black Civic Participation, and Dr. Tony Mitchell; a special report on Black women in the U.S.; a book signing by Lueana Coward; and entertainment by gospel rapper Real LIMS.
