Women’s & Teen’s Conference
AUG. 21—Greater Allen AME Church, 3600 California Ave., North Side, will host its Women’s & Teen’s Conference. The theme is “Christian Women Standing Strong in the Lord.” The conference, which will run through Aug. 24, will include a Youth Revival on Aug. 21 at 7 p.m.; a Comedy Night on Aug. 22 at 7 p.m.; workshops on Aug. 23 at 10 a.m.; and a Women’s Day Service on Aug. 24 at 10:30 a.m. with guest preacher Rev. Prayer Session
AUG. 21—The Fatherhood Initiative of Beaver County of Franklin Center of Beaver County Inc. will host a Prayer Session from 7-7:15 a.m. This national event is being held to come together and pray a short, sharp and specific prayer asking for a safe and productive school year for students, teachers and administrators.
