Open House
SEPT. 25—The SMC Business Councils will host an Open House from 5-6:30 p.m. at the Rivers Club, One Oxford Centre, 301 Grant St., Downtown. Attendees will have the opportunity to meet local members. SMC has been working with small business owners and manufactures to find unique and innovative ways to overcome business challenges, increase their bottom lines, act as a conduit to state and federal officials, and more. YOUTHPRENEUR Networking Mixer
SEPT. 27—Classic Events! will host its YOUTHPRENEUR Business Networking Mixer from 11 a.m.-3 p.m. at Charter School for Entrepreneurship, 200 Penn School Dr., Verona. This event will focus on the next generation of entrepreneurs and business leaders, and allows 20 youth to showcase their business, product service or invention. It will provide support to early stage entrepreneurs. There will also be a “Salute to Penn Hills” recognizing Congressman Mike Doyle, Sen. Jay Costa, state Rep.
