Are You Still There?
Attack Theatre presents “Are You Still There?” at 8 p.m. at The Pittsburgh Coliseum, 7310 Frankstown Ave., Homewood. The show features original choreography by Peter Kope and Michele de la Reza, and is performed by five dancers. Original and recorded music by Ian Green, Hutch and saxophonist Derek Bendel will accompany the dancers. There will be performances through Oct. 10. Identity
The Kelly Strayhorn Theater presents “Identity” at 8 p.m. at the Alloy Studios, 5530 Penn Ave., East Liberty. In “Identity,” Hind Benali, a Moroccan-based choreographer and dancer, explores her past and African roots while addressing Moroccan culture, history and gender politics. It pushes the boundaries between Morocco’s traditional and contemporary culture and creates an ultimate space to examine her identity. Other collaborating artists include Soufiane Karim, Yacine Fadhil and Mohcine Imrham. Following the performance there will be a discussion. This is the second presentation in the KSTmove series.
