:09—Speaking of the…your Pittsburgh Steelers, and I try not to as much as possible, have you noticed the big time improvement of the special teams? You won’t be able to blame this mediocre season on them.
:08—Somebody else tell me again why Florida State is not the No.1 ranked team in America given that they’re undefeated and the other teams are not!

:06—Wouldn’t ya think with all the smart people at Pitt and Penn State they would put their universities together and tell the NCAA (Another group of really smart guys) to put them in a Bowl game together. I don’t care if it’s the Pinstripe Bowl, the Candy Stripe Bowl or the Lucky Strike Bowl, just do it! Wouldn’t ya think?

:01—Further thought about the NBA…now that I’ve got your attention…Pittsburgh’s favorite son and Perry High School graduate, “Rockin Ron” Carter is coming home from the windy city (That would be Chicago for all you Allderdice grads). He’ll be the keynote speaker at the First Annual Pittsburgh City League All-Sports Hall of Fame Inductions. Here’s this, just in case you’re coming from under that rock…Perry High School basketball star, VMI (Virginia Military Institute) All-American, Hall of Famer, drafted by the L.A. Lakers, part of the Jerry Buss-Laker empire, worked in the Clinton administration. Now ya know…now go tell somebody else!
