
Lunch and Learn Series
JULY 2— The Carnegie Library of Pittsburgh will host its Lunch & Learn Series at 12:15 p.m. at the Downtown & Business Branch, 612 Smithfield St., Downtown. The topic will be “Inequality for All.” This seminar will examine the devastating impact the widening income gap has had on the American economy. Economics professor and Clinton Administration cabinet member Robert Reich will explain how the issue of economic inequality affects everyone. Business Fraud Protection 101
JULY 9—The Institute for Entrepreneurial Excellence will host its Business Fraud Protection 101 seminar from 11:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m. at 50 McIntyre Square Dr., Pittsburgh. PNC will highlight some of the common threats of internal and external fraud, share actionable best practices to decrease the risk of financial loss, and provide an overview of available fraud mitigation solutions to protect one’s company.
