PITTSBURGH, PA – The second and final suspect in the July 25 fatal shooting of Lamar Thomas in his barbershop on Stayton Street in Marshall-Shadeland has turned himself.

On July 29, the Pittsburgh Bureau of Police announced that Javahn Devonte Griffin, 22, had been arrested and that a warrant had been issued for Keith Payne,19. Now Payne has been transported to the Allegheny County Jail. Both men are from the Hill District.

They are both charged with criminal homicide, robbery and criminal conspiracy

A witness with both men told police he went into Thomas’ shop to negotiate a price on K2, a type of synthetic marijuana, when the suspects entered the shop and robbed Thomas. At one point, the witness tells police that Griffin told Payne to shoot Thomas if he moved _ shortly before a shot was fired.

Online court records don’t list an attorney for Payne, who faces a preliminary hearing Aug. 12.
