The Alle Kiski Strong Chamber will be kicking off a Young Entrepreneur Program on Tuesday, September 15, with an informational session starting at 6 p.m. in the chamber office, 308 Pittsburgh Mills Circle, Pittsburgh Mills Mall.
This program is a continuation of a program successfully conducted by the StongLand Chamber Foundation, and in cooperation with local school districts and businesses. The program will begin in the fall and consist of approximately seven, two-hour evening sessions. Students that are juniors and seniors in the 2015/2016 school year will learn business plans, time lines, budgets, legal aspects and problem solving. The goal is to have their business operational within six weeks. The final objective will be for all entrepreneurs to participate in the AK Strong Home Expo in February at no cost to them.
