City, county to host Penguins playoff rally in Market Square Tuesday

PITTSBURGH, PA  – Mayor William Peduto and Allegheny County Executive Rich Fitzgerald, in partnership with the Pittsburgh Downtown Partnership, Pittsburgh Penguins and iHeartMedia, will host a Penguins Playoff Rally in Market Square Tuesday afternoon to cheer on the Penguins before they host the Washington Capitals in Game 6 of Round 2 of the Stanley Cup Playoffs at CONSOL Energy Center Tuesday night.

Festivities will begin in Market Square around 11:15 a.m. The Penguins Ice Crew will host the Penguins Prize Wheel, Iceburgh will be interacting with fans and a limited amount of Penguins Gold Rush T-Shirts and Rally Towels will be available to lucky fans in attendance. Jonny Hartwell from 3WS will be the guest DJ and Val Porter from the WDVE Morning Show will emcee the rally.
