Fulton County Seeks Emergency Solutions Grant Proposals

The Fulton County Department of Housing and Community Development is soliciting project proposals for Fiscal Year 2015 Emergency Solutions Grant (ESG) funds.  Funding is available for activities that primarily benefit low- and moderate-income residents of Fulton County.

The funds are divided into the following categories: Up to 60% for Shelter activities and 40% to Homeless Prevention and Rapid Rehousing activities.   Eligible applicants must have both capacity and experience in the successful provision of services following the ESG guidelines. Available funds are solely designated for eligible activities that result in improving access to quality housing and supportive services for individuals and families who experience or are at risk of homelessness.  Proposed projects must be outside the city limits of Atlanta but within Fulton County.

Applications and program guidelines are available online atwww.fultoncountyga.gov.  Printed copies of the program manuals will be available as of Wednesday, July 27, 2016 for pick-up at the following location:

Completed application forms must be submitted to the above address on or before Friday, August 12, 2016 at 12:00 noon.

During this application period, the Housing and Community Development Division will sponsor an Application Preparatory Workshop to assist potential applicants in completing applications and to answer questions about the ESG Program.  All applicants are required to attend the following mandatory application preparatory workshop.

The workshop will be held on Wednesday, August 3, 2016, at 10:00 a.m. in the Housing and Community Development Department located at 137 Peachtree Street, SW, Atlanta GA, 137 Peachtree Street, S.W, Atlanta, GA 30303
