ASHLEY WOODSON

Throughout Ashley Woodson’s 13 years as a New Pittsburgh Courier photographer, not to mention through his “Brotha Ash Productions” independent company, you’d be hard pressed to find someone who hasn’t had their picture taken by Woodson.
While still holding down his position as manager of his late uncle Timothy Miles’ bar, Tim’s Bar, in the Hill District, Woodson has embarked on a new journey—leasing specialist for Bedford Hill Apartments.
“It feels great, I’m from Bedford Avenue all day. I like helping people period, but in this capacity, it’s even better,” Woodson told the Courier, May 21, his second day on the new job.
Bedford Hill Apartments, located in the Hill District, is operated by McCormack Baron Salazar, has one- and two-bedroom affordable apartment homes and townhomes with washers and dryers, modern kitchens, intrusion alarms and decks, and patios or balconies in most floorplans, according to its website.
There’s free wireless internet in the community room and business center, plus a playground and cardio fitness center on site.
Woodson said he’s looking forward to helping residents—many of whom he knows and vice versa—with any apartment-related issues.
Woodson covers a variety of entertainment-related functions for the New Pittsburgh Courier.
