Allegheny County reports 180 new COVID-19 cases, no new deaths

The Allegheny County Department of Health [ACHD] reported 180 COVID-19 infections Monday, bringing the total case count since March 14 to 7,474 cases.

The new cases span from July 9 through July 26 from 1,929 tests. Patients’ ages ranged from 2 to 101 years old, with the median age being 45.

ACHD also reported two additional hospitalizations and no new fatalities. To date, there have been 222 deaths and 583 past and present hospitalizations.

The Pennsylvania Department of Health [DOH] reported 839 infections and four fatalities Monday, bringing the statewide case count to 108,264 and 7,122 deaths.

The 180 cases Allegheny announced Monday was again higher than the 166 infections Philadelphia County reported.
