Sealed bid proposals are hereby solicited for the Community College of Allegheny County, 800 Allegheny Avenue, Pittsburgh PA 15233 on the following:
BID PROPOSAL NO. 1077 – CENTER FOR FACULTY INNOVATION BUILDING ALTERATIONS – GENERAL, ELECTRICAL, HVAC, PLUMBING, AND FIRE PROTECTION (FIVE PRIME CONTRACTS)
Beginning on Thursday, October 22, 2020, Bid Forms, Instructions, Specifications, and Conditions regulating the bidding may be obtained from F.L. Haus Company, 921 Ridge Ave., Pittsburgh, PA 15212.

Proposals will be received at the Purchasing Department until 2:00 P.M. Prevailing Time on Thursday, November 19, 2020 at which time they will be publicly opened.
PROJECT LABOR AGREEMENT COMPLIANCE IS REQUIRED.
CCAC is requesting bids to be made “net of insurance” and will award the contract to the lowest responsible bidder “net of insurance,” all as more thoroughly described in the Contract Documents. Under this OCIP approach, Contractors and Subcontractors must remove the cost of insurance from the Base Bid price.
Any proposals received after this deadline will be considered as a “late bid” and will be returned unopened to the offerer.
Proposals may require Bid Bonds, Performance Bonds, Payment Bonds, and Surety as dictated by the specifications.
