Sealed Bids for CONTRACT NO. 1725A CIPP REHABILITATION OF THE LOWER SAW MILL RUN INTERCEPTOR shall be received at the office of the Allegheny County Sanitary Authority, 3300 Preble Avenue, Pittsburgh, PA, 15233, until 2:00 P.M., Prevailing Time, November 19, 2020 and then shall be publicly opened and read. A Pre-Bid Meeting will be held by teleconference on November 5, 2020 at 10:00 A.M., Prevailing Time.
ALCOSAN encourages businesses owned and operated by minorities and women to submit bids on Authority Contracts or to participate as subcontractors or suppliers to successful Bidders. Successful Bidders are to use minority and women’s businesses to the fullest extent possible.
Contract Documents may be examined and obtained at the office of the Authority. A non­ refundable fee of $100 (no cash will be accepted) will be charged for each set of Contract Documents. Bid Security shall be furnished by providing with the Bid a Certified Check or Bid Bond in the amount of 10% of the Bid Price. Bidders are encouraged to obtain a copy of the Bid Documents, if they have not already done so, from the Clerk’s Office, 2nd Floor ALCOSAN O&M Building, either before or following the Pre-Bid Meeting.

Request for Proposals – Project Based Voucher Program (RFP)
Contract No. ACHA – 1635
The Allegheny County Housing Authority is seeking proposals from responsible property owners interested in providing expanded rental housing opportunities for low income families. Properties must be existing housing, currently receiving Low-Income Housing Tax Credits (LIHTC) and be located in North Fayette Township or Findlay Township in Allegheny County. The projects must be in a census tract area with a poverty rate of less than 10% per the U.S. census bureau. The ACHA is looking for one-bedroom and two-bedroom units and intends to project base no more than 25 voucher units. The minimum contract term will be 15 years with a maximum contract term of 20 years at the ACHA’s option.
The ACHA will begin to accept proposals on a one-time basis beginning Wednesday, October 28, 2020 with a closing date of Friday, November 13, 2020. Any proposal received after the expiration of this application period will not be considered.
Once received, each proposal will be rated for the program compliance with the goals of deconcentrating poverty, expanding housing and economic opportunities. Once reviewed the successful proposer will be notified in writing of award as well as required public notification.
