For Todd Hollis, practicing law was a calling, a calling that he is grateful that Pittsburgh has allowed him to serve his community for the past 27 years, providing expertise in personal injury, civil rights, and general criminal law issues.
Hollis said he didn’t become a lawyer for recognition.
“I think what I aspire to most is just to do a good job. For somebody to come to me who’s having a bad day, bad moment, or bad situation and hire my office, and we get a good result; that’s the reward for me.”
The thing that sets his firm apart adds Hollis, is great client communication. For him, it’s everything. He is dedicated to understanding what results his clients want and helping them understand what actions he can take on their behalf. He ensures that his clients are knowledgeable about the choices they are making and feel empowered to make them.
Hollis likened it to shoes that you own. Every shoe in your closet will get you from A to B, but he bets you have that one pair that looks good, but when you put them on and get to the end of the day, you realize your feet hurt. Then, you have another pair that might not look as good, but when you put it on it feels good, it is comfortable and gets you where you need to be at the end of the day.
“That’s what I aspire to be. I aspire to be that shoe that’s comfortable,” said Hollis. “I want to get you to wherever it is you need to be legally. I want you to have a good experience and be comfortable.”
Hollis is a graduate of Duquesne University School of Law, Duquesne University undergrad, and a member of Omega Psi Phi fraternity. He has won numerous awards and honors for his legal and civic endeavors.
