NEUROCRITICAL CARE
PHYSICIAN
University of Pittsburgh Physicians seeks a Neurocritical Care Physician to work in Pittsburgh, PA (Allegheny County). Treat individuals with emergent neurological conditions affecting the brain, spine, nerves, or muscles including but not limited to acute ischemic strokes, intracranial hemorrhages, coma, seizures, traumatic brain or spinal cord injury, or acute neuromuscular weakness compromising functional abilities that require critical care services; manage and diagnose patients with critical conditions at UPMC Mercy. Must have a M.D. or equivalent; completion of residency in Neurology or related and completion of fellowship in Neurologic Critical Care. 10-Month Position – Duties include food and interoffice mail deliveries within the district, transporting band trailer and miscellaneous equipment to functions and athletic events, organizing food service stock rooms, and maintaining food services inventories. Must have a valid driver’s license and clean driving record. Commercial driving experience or experience towing trailers preferred. Salary: $19.00/hour. Periodic overtime required. Current FBI Background Check, PA Criminal Record Check, and PA Child Abuse History are required.
